Over the past seven years, Rona has delivered digital, social media and communications strategy and support across the theatre industry, in-house at Shakespeare’s Globe, at JHI Marketing and now freelance. She is delighted to be a founding member of Tandem Marketing Worldwide, working alongside Natalie Yalden.
In her time at JHI as Head of Digital, Rona led a team working across shows in the West End, Off West End and on tour. This included social media support for: all of Mischief's presence on stage and screen, including The Goes Wrong Show, The Play That Goes Wrong, Magic Goes Wrong and more; the 2019 production of Noises Off; On Blueberry Hill, as well as a number of shows at The Vaults.
She also created social campaigns for Live Events clients such as CBeebies Rainbow Adventure, Fane and Crazy Coqs. This involved on the night support and social strategy across live and in person events as well as livestreams, with Ant and Dec, Nadiya Hussain, Dawn French, Julia Quinn (Bridgerton) and more.
At Shakespeare's Globe, Rona learned from the ground up - getting to work directly on social media and digital offerings for shows including Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank. Developing to the role of Digital Producer, she rejuvenated the Digital Outreach strategy - bringing pupils from around the globe inside the Globe Theatre via livestream, who may otherwise have never been able to see inside it.
A genuine love of the industry and how it connects with audiences drives Rona - having grown up loving live performance and studying Shakespeare at university. Working collaboratively and creatively with professionalism, Rona provides engaging social media campaigns, content and community management to all of her clients.
